Gates, N.Y. — Action Companies, the Central New York based hotel owner and operator, and Quaker Steak and Lube restaurant franchisee, is announcing that construction has begun on the Quaker Steak & Lube location in Gates. This project is part of a sixteen restaurant agreement to expand Quaker Steak & Lube’s throughout Upstate New York and New England.
The popular restaurant will be renovated in a former Ground Round restaurant on the corner of Pixley and Buffalo Roads. Owner Jacob Wright projects the restaurant will be opening the beginning of June. The Quaker Steak and Lube would add 150 new jobs to the Rochester market, and then stabilize about 100 positions after the first 90 days of business.
